| Professional Promotions recently opened a Midwest Regional Office |

| Founded in 1986 by Brett Carlson, President & CEO, Professional Promotions recently opened its new Midwest Region Office managed by a seasoned industry veteran Benjamin Prasad.
A native of California, Ben graduated from University High School in West Los Angeles and Santa Monica Community College, with additional business and management coursework at California State University in Northridge.
Since college, Ben has spent his entire 20+ year career in the promotional products industry. He spent five years at Barlow/Salm in Los Angeles where he started in customer service and worked up to customer service manager supervising six reps. When the company was sold to Norwood Promotional Products in Indianapolis, Ben was shifted to Northeast Regional Sales Manager at Radio Cap Corp., inventor of the original Koozie insulated beverage holder. He was responsible for sales in 12 states.
After five years in the Northeast, Ben desired to return to the West Coast. He took a position as Western Regional Sales Manager for Hit Promotional Products, a supplier of a large variety of promotional products such as headwear, bags, totes, desk items, writing instruments, drinkware, stress relievers, and ceramics. From there, Ben took a position as National Sales Manager for West Coast-based promotional products manufacturer Option Products/Punchline. There, he managed a team of field reps and in-house account executives.
Having lived on the East and West Coasts, Ben then headed to the nation’s heartland to become National Sales Manager for Par One Golf, operating out of an office in Chicago. There, he began to build his business connections in the Midwest. “While the winters are cold,” he says, “Chicago’s economy is consistently hot.”
Desiring to remain in Chicagoland, Ben then spent four years as National Sales Manager for the Illini line of promotional products before joining Professional Promotions as Manager of our Midwest Regional Office. I’ve known Brett Carlson and Professional Promotions for many years,” he says; “in fact, they were my customer! I got to know them very well, from the inside out. They have the kind of reputation and quality I admire. I’m delighted to be on their team!”
